Barcelona FC have stimulate the teenage star Ansu Fati’s release clause from 100 million to 170 million euros ($188.3 millions), the Spanish champion announced on Wednesday.
Barca said in a statement, “FC Barcelona and the player Ansu Fati have agreed on an improved contract until 30, 2022, with two years optional and on his release phrase, which migrate from 100 to 170 euros”.
The 17year-old’s release phrase will also be collided up to 400 millions euros – almost twice the world record 222 millions euros Paris Saint-German paid FC Barcelona fo Nymar – when he sign the professional contract with the first team.
Ansu Fati became the second youngest player to future for FC Barcelona in Agust aged 16 and 298 days before becoming their youngest ever goalscorer against Osasuna.
He has since he decided to play internationally in Spain instead of his country of birth, Guinea-Bissau, and has won two under 21 caps.
