President M. Buhari Recieves Blast on Social Media Over Today’s Confusive Statements-NIGERIANS


Nigerians have expressed their displeasure with a part of the Buhari’s speech marking the country’s 60th Independence anniversary.

In his Independence Day speech, President Muhammadu Buhari addressed a number of topics, including thanking Nigerians for entrusting him with hopes for a better country.

He also reiterated his commitment to the service of Nigeria.

However, a part of his speech caught people’s attention and led to criticisms.

The part reads: “Democracy, the world over and as I am pursuing in Nigeria, recognizes the power of the people.

However, if some constituencies choose to bargain off their power, they should be prepared for denial of their rights.”
