Nigerian Army arrested and tortured for being a “snith” to Boko Haram

The internet blows hot as Nigerians shows grave disappointment over the recent news and video circulating on social media showing the Nigerian Army torturing one if their colleague as they arrest him for being a snitch.

A Nigerian Army officer has recently been arrested at Maimalari Barrack Maiduguri, Nigeria at around 6pm yesterday by his colleagues as they finally realize that he has been giving vital information to the dreaded terror group ‘Boko haram’ on when ,where and how to attack the Nigerian Army and other citizens.

Boko Haram group was Founded by Mohammed Yusuf in 2002, the group has been led by Abubakar Shekau since 2009. When Boko Haram first formed, their actions were nonviolent.

Their main goal was to purify Islam in northern Nigeria. Since March 2015, the group has been aligned with the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant.

Since the current insurgency started in 2009, Boko Haram has killed tens of thousands of people and displaced over 2.3 million from their homes and was at one time the world’s deadliest terror group according to the Global Terrorism Index.

In the video currently circulating on Instagram, 1 Nigerian Army officers was seen tying his colleague’s hands with rope and slapping him while 4 other Army officers were watching and trying to disperse the people gathered at the scene.

After the Army men finished tying their colleague’s hands together with rope, they put him inside the boot of their car and drove off.

The video is being carried on Instagram by the famous Nigerian social media influencer, entertainer and brand promoter ‘Tundeednut‘.

Tundeednut is also known and widely followed on Instagram for posting videos of recent happenings around the world.
