Leeds Untd welcomes Arsenal to Elland road today during their ongoing Epl matches where the game ended 0-0 draw.
Below is how the Gunners players performed during the game
Leno: Was called upon several times in the first half to make saves in the first half including an outstanding one from Patrick Bamford.
Did the same again in the second as Leeds continued to fire off shots from the edge of the box. Could have been a lot worse if not for the German. 7.
Bellerin: Was decent enough defensively particularly after Arsenal went down to ten.
Offensively was impressive again and helped to carry the ball forward for Bukayo Saka’s chance late on. 5.
Holding: Was solid at the back throughout in what was a good come back after his disappointing showing against Aston Villa.
Looks to have formed a good partnership with Gabriel. 5.
Gabriel: Had his blushes saved by Leno after a mistake in the first half, but was very impressive yet again.
Was imperious in the air and did well to keep his concentration as the Gunners were forced to defend for long periods following the red card. 6.
Tierney: Given that he played in all three of Scotland’s fixtures over the international break the energy shown by Tierney was incredible.
After the red card he constantly got in support of Bukayo Saka as the Gunners looked to counter. 7.
Xhaka: Was solid in protecting the back four in the first half.
However, he was at fault in allowing Rodrygo to cut in and shoot for what were some of Leeds’ best opportunity in the second period. 5.
Ceballos: Started the game in impressive fashion and was first to every ball in the first half where he looked Arsenal’s biggest creative threat.
His influenced waned in the second half as he was asked to do more defensive work following the red card. 6.
Willock: Disappointed after being given his chance in the Premier League.
Looked nervous for much of it and struggled in a number 10 role which is probably not his best position.
Not his best game but far from his worst. 5.
Pepe: Was deservedly sent off for a senseless headbutt on Ezgjan Alioski at the start of the second half.
Had done little to deserve his starting place before that save for a few wayward shots from distance.
Will now miss the North London Derby. 3.
Willian: Started on the left hand side and looked off the pace once again.
Was too slow to take advantage of a ball over the top that might have led to a rare first half chance.
Can’t have too many arguments after being hooked at half time. 4.
Aubameyang: Had his big opportunity down the middle spoiled by Pepe’s red card.
Had a few opportunities on the counter but couldn’t take them.
Should be allowed to play the centre forward role again against Wolves. 5.
Nelson: Came on at half time but didn’t do much to influence the game.
His set piece delivery was very disappointing and often struggled to beat the first man. 5.
Saka: Was absolutely outstanding after coming on in the second half following the red card.
Showed composure beyond his years as the Gunners looked to hit Leeds on the counter.
Arsenal will be hoping the injury he suffered late on is nothing serious. 8.
Maitland-Niles: Came on too late to influence the game. n/a
