Chelsea made all the possible preparations to sign Isco for £44.4m bid.

It has been claimed over night by Spanish publication El Desmarque that Chelsea have made a £44.4 million offer for Real Madrid play maker Isco.

Madrid owner Florentino Perez is reportedly considering the proposal despite it meeting the asking price he set for Isco in last summer’s transfer window.

The 27-year old midfielder has been in and out of the Madrid side under manager Zinedine Zidane so his future at the club is anything but solid.

But realistically, this is probably one of those reports that you should take with a pinch of salt and await on hearing it from any other bigger sources before you start buying your Chelsea shirts with Isco on the back at least!

He is the type of creative attacking player though that Frank Lampard would probably like to add to his squad in January, with that area on the pitch being one he is currently surveying.
