Vieri played alongside Ronaldo de Lima during their days at Inter Milan With Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi leading the debate as regards who the better player is, the same topic has been extended to CR7 vs Ronaldo Nazario de Lima, DailyMail reports.
Ronaldo de Lima is arguably the greatest goal poacher ever to play the game, a sensational striker who scored with ease to earn the name ‘phenomenon’ – ‘O Fenomeno’.
Two of the greatest players in the history of football share the ‘Ronaldo’ name but opinions are split as to which one was superior.
Italian legend Christian Vieri had his say on who is better between the Brazilian star and his Portuguese counterpart.
Vieri played alongside ‘O Fenomeno’ upfront at Inter Milan, where Ronaldo netted 59 goals in 99 games and won a second Ballon d’Or, his spell was disrupted by injury problems.

“I say that Brazilian Ronaldo is better than Cristiano Ronaldo.
“CR7 is a war machine, he is admirable for everything he does and for all the things he continues to do.
“Cristiano can play up to 40 years with a cigarette between his lips, as they say in Italy. He has a sculptural physique.
” The continued rivalry between Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi has been settled by twelve stars who played along both sensational players, according to interviews compiled by SunSport.
Ronaldo and Messi have both dominated the football space for more than a decade winning everything possible, with many describing them as aliens who came from the outside world.
Deliberation about the players are more religious on social media as fans are either for Ronaldo or Messi.
Both have enjoyed glittering careers, winning loads of trophies, scoring hundreds of goals and earning piles of personal accolades.
