Iniesta believes the likes of Xavi, Messi and himself will, in the future, take charge of the Catalan club and return it to its golden days.

These six men are said not to be satisfied with the nature at which president Josep Bartomeu has been running the club without making use of their suggestions.

In the wake of this, Iniesta believes the situation is coming at a wrong time and says it will affect the performance of the team.

He said: “Us players were all there for so many years, experiencing the club as kids then getting into the first team, staying for 10, 12 , 15 years, becoming captains.
