Chelsea overcame Burnley in a comfortable 3-0 win at Stamford Bridge on Saturday. Express Sport is on hand to rate and slate Frank Lampard and Sean Dyche’s men.
Chelsea cemented their place in the Premier League’s top four on Saturday by leaving their home hoodoo behind and comfortably dispatching Burnley at Stamford Bridge. Jorginho, Tammy Abraham and Callum Hudson-Odoi got their names on the scoresheet in an easy 3-0 win for Frank Lampard’s side.
Jorginho got the ball rolling for Chelsea as he converted his penalty with ease, slotting home as Burnley goalkeeper Nick Pope dived the other way.
Pope then endured a moment to forget as he failed to deal with Abraham’s header with Ben Mee rushing back towards him and the ball ended up in the goal.
Hudson-Odoi put Chelsea out of sight just after half-time when he met Cesar Azpilicueta’s cross and steered the ball beyond Pope.
